Although our program is called Dr. Siegal's® Cookie Diet ™, there's much more to it than eating cookies. It's a doctor-supervised system of weight loss on which you'll lose weight on a restricted calorie diet. We'll control your hunger with our proprietary cookies, shakes and soup. We'll also evaluate your metabolic state to see if you have a sluggish metabolism caused by a condition called hypothyroidism. It's very difficult to lose weight if you have an underactive thyroid. If your Siegal Medical Group doctor determines that you suffer from hypothyroidism, he'll provide medication to correct the problem.

Initial Consultation

Before you begin dieting, your Siegal Medical Group doctor will perform laboratory tests and an evaluation of your metabolism. Next, he or she will personally explain our program and provide instructions on how to use our cookies, shakes and soup to control your hunger.

The Diet

To control hunger, you'll eat six Dr. Siegal's® Cookie Diet ™ cookies* throughout the day. For dinner, you'll eat one meal consisting of specific amounts of chicken, fish, vegetables and other foods. Your Siegal Medical Group doctor will determine the optimal daily caloric intake on which you'll be guaranteed to lose weight.
