Siegal Medical Group is a private medical practice that is limited to the treatment of overweight patients. It was founded in Miami in 1957 by our medical director, renowned author and weight loss expert Dr. Sanford Siegal. We've helped generations of South Floridians —more than 500,000 patients— lose weight and keep it off.

Although Dr. Siegal has received considerable media attention for his books on various subjects including hypothyroidism, high fiber dieting and hunger control, he is best known as the creator of the famous Dr. Siegal's® Cookie Diet ™, a system of weight loss that includes a restricted-calorie diet supplemented with Dr. Siegal's own proprietary hunger-controlling foods.
